Human Resources exists to caringly steward one of our church’s most crucial and valuable assets - our people! We collaborate with the campuses/ministries to cultivate motivational and meaningful employee development, encourage the creation of enjoyable work environments and manage the provision of life-enhancing benefits.

Policy

Human Resources Policy

As laborers in the gospel ministry, we hold our staff and volunteer leaders to biblical standards of integrity and excellence. We also hold ourselves accountable for excellence in providing for our staff and leaders. Our Human Resources Policy guides our work behaviors and provides clarity for staff regarding a wide array of topics including:

Employer Notices

Notice to Employees Concerning Workers' Compensation in Texas

Aviso a los Empleados Sobre la Compensación para Trabajadores en Texas

Hiring Process

When our ministry leaders desire to add new staff roles, the conversation should start early — at least by the end of the Fall semester — between the supervisor, the campus Operations Team representative, and Human Resources Team so that our Finance Team can account for it in the Spring budgeting season. Whether adding a newly approved position or filling a recently vacated position, our Human Resources Team provides hiring guidelines and best practices for supervisors in the page linked below:

Supervisors’ Expectations.
