Volunteers are the hands and feet of our Grace Bible Church body. We aim to equip them well for the role they set out to do. In order to encourage people to cross-serve, whether they change campus or want to try out a new department, we’ve streamlined this application process using Church Community Builder. This process includes a serving interest form, application, background check (if applicable), child safety training (if applicable), interview, post-interview,
Applications and interviews do not expire unless they stop serving completely for a year or more. However, we require renewals of Child Safety Training and Background Checks after 2 years through our Volunteer Renewal Process regardless if they’re serving continuously or not.

EVERYONE that is not a current Fellow or Perm staff member. It does not matter if they are related to a staff member, have been at Grace longer than you’ve been alive, or seem like a really cool person.
Please check the interview guide for specific requirement on what your applicant needs to complete before serving which most likely will include a background check and child safety training. Potential volunteers are added to these queues through the CCB Application Process after their application has been completed.
