The Schedules & Plans tool in CCB helps our staff and lay leaders manage, track, and schedule the volunteers who serve at Grace. The tool has several features that can streamline the administrative process of managing volunteers.
Communication Tools in Schedules
Grace Kids - All volunteers serving with Grace Kids on Sunday morning, at midweek programming, at AWANA, or at special events should have their serving recorded in CCB.
Weekly Serve Teams - This includes Sunday morning and midweek gatherings (e.g. Junction or CRK College Nights).
Worship & Production Volunteers - Worship & Production volunteers for Sunday morning services, midweek services, and special events should have their serving recorded in CCB. These teams will also continue using Planning Center, so make sure serving requests and reminders are not being automatically sent to them from both programs.
Guidelines for recording serving of Worship & Production Volunteers
Note about staff members - If a staff member is filling a specific role or helping lead any of the teams listed above, their serving should be recorded in CCB. Staff members who are present and “working” on Sunday morning, but not serving in a specific capacity, should not be recorded in CCB.
Schedules should not be used to record peer-to-peer leading. Examples: Adult or College Bible study leaders, Marriage Ministry leaders, Community group leaders. Youth Leaders should be not be scheduled through CCB Schedules, instead their serving is recorded through group attendance.
