In most organizations, employee development begins and ends in that relationship. At Grace, we recognize and affirm the need for development in other, more holistic ways. We each need coaching and mentoring to grow. The definitions and distinctions between these roles (i.e. supervisor, coach, mentor) can be found in the links below. Some employees will find coaching and/or mentoring in their relationship with their supervisor, and some will not. In order to ensure that every staffer enjoys all 3 types of input and development, we will provide means, tools, and connections (in the context of one, two, or three personal relationships) as needed.
