Notifications appear on Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Apple Safari when you're signed in to Gmail and have it open. They will also appear in the Gmail app but may be customized separately from browser notifications.
To manage your communication in one place, you can add Google Chat and Meet to your Gmail inbox. This is available if your organization allows it.
You can read, respond to, and search your Gmail messages even when you aren't connected to the Internet by visiting mail.google.com.

This will move emails out of your inbox, but keep them available for search when you’re looking for something discussed over email from a while back!

Tired of typing the same reply every time someone sends you email with a common question? Compose your reply once and save the email as a template. You can also include your signature. Later, you can open the template and send it again with just a few clicks.
If you send emails or event invites to the same people all the time, create a Google Group for them. The next time you compose a message, send an email to the group to reach everyone at once. You can use the same group to schedule Google Calendar meetings.
