Tips & Tricks

Set up Chat and Meet in Gmail

To manage your communication in one place, you can add Google Chat and Meet to your Gmail inbox. This is available if your organization allows it.

Set up Gmail to use without an internet connection

You can read, respond to, and search your Gmail messages even when you aren't connected to the Internet by visiting mail.google.com.

Migrate your old emails

This will move emails out of your inbox, but keep them available for search when you’re looking for something discussed over email from a while back!

2. Start sending mail

Create and send email

Send pre-written emails with email templates

Tired of typing the same reply every time someone sends you email with a common question? Compose your reply once and save the email as a template. You can also include your signature. Later, you can open the template and send it again with just a few clicks.

Message large groups with one address

If you send emails or event invites to the same people all the time, create a Google Group for them. The next time you compose a message, send an email to the group to reach everyone at once. You can use the same group to schedule Google Calendar meetings.
