Information that Vendors need:
- When purchasing t-shirts:
- The vendor needs the final design in a vector file (waived art fee) or a jpg file (charges you $50 for art fee)
- How many you want quoted (minimum is 24, then the price breaks are at 48, 96, 144,…)
- Which brand of shirt, style number, & colors do you want? Give top 5 choices. Availability of stock highly fluctuates - one day there is enough, the next day they are gone.
- It’ll take a minimum of 2 weeks to get the t-shirts in hand once order is placed
- When needing an online store link to preorder (CC Creations store):
- The artwork in a vector (waives the art fee) or a jpg file (charges you $50 for the art fee)
- How much you want to sell the item for?-you can make money off of items. CC Creations will cut check for the “extra money”.
- The minimum order is 48.
- Let them know the dates you’d like the store link to the live & then once it closes it’ll take 2 weeks before you get them in-hand
- They say they need 2 weeks to get the store link ready to go live
- Pro is that they handle all payment, con is that it takes longer to get in-hand
- When selling merch on the Grace online store:
- Pro is that the timeline to make this happen is pretty quick, con is that shopify has to handle the payment and you are hoping everyone that said they wanted to purchase will
- Send Comm Team the info below:
- pictures of the merchandise
- Quantity of each size/item
- How much you want to sell each item, tax will be added automatically
- These items can be sold on the campus shopify ipads and/+ through the online store link
- When ordering a poster/printed material:
- Need final PDF file to submit with bleed to vendor
- For a poster: Email the vendor the size, glossy or matte finish, mounted on foam board or not
- Radiant will give you the size or template to use to submit the design
- Copy Corner you can submit the design on their upload page and give specs & ask for the weight of paper you want (basically do you want regular paper or cardstock?), and then glossy(holds up better against wear and tear - recommended for business cards or reusable items) or matte(most peoples preferred “look”) finish.
- When ordering a multi-page booklet:
- Submit the final design file to the vendor in a PDF format
- Tell them how many you would like to order
- Black & White or full color or color cover page and black & white inside pages
- What kind of binding: staples? stitching? spiral (wire or plastic)?
- Front and back covers can be glossy or matte, glossy tends to hold up better, inside needs to be matte if you want people to be able to write in them.
- When ordering merch:
- There are different specs for each merch item based on the vendor but they will need the design file to upload and should send you an art proof to approve before it goes into production
- When wanting to send out a mail out:
- With Admail or Radiant Printing
- Send the design file in a PDF format
- Can send out by list of addresses or by zipcodes
- We have non-profit mailing price with Admail
