Grace Bible Church has a wonderful Counseling Referral System with an effective process. When a staff person or ministry leader meets with a Grace member or regular attender who they discern has issues far beyond what they are equipped to counsel, we refer them to vetted, local Christian counselors who are trained to counsel their particular issues. If you aren't sure if someone needs a counseling referral, please ask the Counseling Administrator, Erin Berkey, or Brad Evans (System and Anderson Adult Ministries Pastor). You may also ask the friendly neighborhood Adult Ministries Pastor at your campus. Sometimes they just need to be plugged into a small group community to love on them and may not need professional counseling.

We have a wonderful partnership with over 60 local counselors and have curated a list of who counsels which issues so that we can send clients to the right counselor based on their counseling needs.

If you have a person you'd like to get into counseling, please complete the Counseling Referral Form:

Scholarship Program

We also have a counseling scholarship program and about 90% of our referrals receive scholarships from Grace at some level.  Our counseling scholarships come from our "People In Need" fund that Grace donors can choose to give to when giving online.  In an effort to be good stewards of that fund, we initially approve clients for six sessions with their counselor but if they need more, they can be approved for additional sessions.  We are super thankful for our partnership with our counselors and have seen God work in incredible ways through them by people finding victory over habitual sin, breaking strongholds from trauma, securing their identity in Christ, managing anxiety and depression, and so much more.
